This is a beautiful song from the early 1990s by one of my favorite groups from the era.  I'm not always the biggest fan of that period of rock music, but R.E.M. won me over...in large part because of gems like this one.

This is an interesting challenge because it is best counted in either 6/8 or 12/8 time, which requires us to modify one of our 4-beat rhythm patterns to be felt in a "triplet" feel.  But, there's a lot of great things you can do with this song and I tried to cover all of my favorites.  It also has tremendous opportunity for dynamic range and creative expression.

The chords are relatively simple, which makes it even more fun to try out all the variations, so let's dive in bring this tune to life!
